Kaz has worked in many diverse areas of IT for several years. His major areas of expertise include:

• Windows application design and development (.NET, Java, VB6 and VBA)
• Web application design and development (ASP, ASP.NET, PHP and Java/JSP)
• database design (Microsoft© Access, SQL Server and Oracle)
• business process modelling and reengineering
• IT support (PC installation, maintenance and troubleshooting)
• user training
• production of technical documentation

He has extensive commercial experience in a variety of application domains, including finance, law, recruitment, tourism and mining.

Kaz holds a Diploma of Information Technology (TAFE NSW), a Bachelor of Computer Science degree (University of Newcastle), and a Master of Information Technology degree (Queensland University of Technology). He is also currently on the teaching staff at two universities.
